CNN (Communist News Network) Frist Leaves Planet

Bush To Address Nation On Immigration

Minuteman Project Rally Draws Counter-Demonstration

Friday, May 12, 2006: Posted: 7:03 p.m. EDT (23:03GMT)

Washington (CNN) – President Bush will speak from the Oval Office Monday about immigration and border security, hot button issues that have inspired massive demonstrations and a growing political divide.

Starting at 8:00 p.m., the president is expected to talk for about 20 minutes, and might also address the National Guard’s role in securing the borders.

Whitehouse spokesman Tony Snow announced the address earlier Friday. It will be the president’s 21st nationwide address since he took office.

Rallies held in Washington Friday further illustrated the differences among Americans on immigration issues and impending immigration bills.

Standing behind a yellow policeline, supporters of the Minuteman Project – a grass-roots groups opposed to illegal immigrants staying in the country – shouted, “We speak English here” in response to Spanish chants of “No los vamos, aqui estamos” or, translated, “We’re here and we’re not going anywhere.”

Frist: Confident Bill Will Pass

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist told CNN Espanol on Friday he is confident a fair and balanced immigration bill proposal will be completed before Memorial Day.

“We know we need to address the 12 million people who have come here illegally,” Frist said. “There will be a free and open debate.”

Frist said one of the decisions he and the Senate leaders will be making in the coming weeks is whether or not to incorporate a House bill that has already passed into their bill.

Whether the government produces meaningful solutions or not, the Minuteman Project will begin implementing a solution of their own at the end of the month.

Minuteman Project members, together with land owners in Texas and California, will work with contractors to mend, repair and build fences along private property.

“It’s going to be a standard barbed wire fence probably exceeding 6 to 7 feet,” said Minuteman Project spokesman Tim Bueler. “It’s a statement. Building a wall is not necessarily the right the right approach to this. Having the National Guard is and then taking the incentive away from illegal immigrants.”

In his CNN Espanol interview Friday, Frist said he would support calling in the National Guard if necessary to secure borders – but individual states should make the call.

He doesn’t believe federal troops patrolling the border are necessary

Thank You: Mr. Bush, Mr. Frist, Mr. Alexander, Mr. McCain And All The Other Self-Serving "Soon-To-Be" Un-Elected Public Trough Spongers in Washington!

I began following this story the day after the murders because Lori Ann (the mother in this story) was formerly cleaning the home of a friend of mine's sister and she also worked at a day-care owned by one of our family members who lives in Antioch. Once the story about the possible involvement of Jose' Sosa was made public, I learned that Lori Ann had notified authorities on SEVERAL occasions about the illegals living next door but could never get I.C.E. nor the metro police to intercede. Now, thanks to the "catch and release policies practiced by the U.S. Border Patrol and the in-action by both local organizations, she and her daughter, are DEAD!

Three fingerprints link suspect to stabbing deaths, detective testifies

By TRAVIS LOLLER
Staff Writer

Three fingerprints link 16-year-old Jose Sosa to last month's stabbing deaths of Lori Ann and Adrian Rountree in south Nashville, police detectives testified on Friday.

The mother and daughter were found dead in their Creekside Drive home on April 25. Sosa, who lived next door, was arrested Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Police offered no motive for the killings during Friday's hearing and said there were no witnesses who had ever seen Sosa with the victims.

"I kept asking if for any reason he had been inside the house, and he said, 'No,' " detective Marvin Rivera said. "He kept saying 'No.' "

However, detective Wil Nesbitt testified that at least one of Sosa's fingerprints was found inside the home. Two more fingerprints, one of them bloody, were found on a back door, Nesbitt said.

Lori Ann Rountree, 44, received about 37 wounds that punctured her stomach, heart, liver and major arteries. Adrian, 16, had about 46 wounds to the lungs and major arteries.

Although there were signs of a struggle at the scene, police said they did not notice any wounds on Sosa on the day they found the bodies. Nesbitt also did not see any signs of a forced entry into the house, he said.

Sosa was ordered to remain in juvenile detention until a June 23 hearing, when Assistant District Attorney Jeff Burks said he will ask to have Sosa tried as an adult.

After Friday's hearing, Juan Sosa, the defendant's brother, raised his voice and began saying in Spanish that the police had no proof against his brother. Rivera told him to step outside the courtroom and then arrested him on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Juan Sosa said in an interview on Thursday that his brother was with other people when the slaying occurred and could not have done it.

Arrest made in murder of Antioch mother, daughter
May 11, 2006 11:05 PM CDT

A teenage in the United States illegally is now charged with murdering a Nashville woman and her daughter.

Jose Sosa, 16, was arrested and charged on Thursday with the murders of his former neighbors, Lori and Adrian Rountree. They were brutally stabbed to death in their Antioch home in April 2006.

Police say they found a finger print of Sosa at the crime scene that matched one the border patrol had on file of him from last year. They say he had been caught coming into the United States illegally, detained and fingerprinted and then later deported.

However, he apparently re-entered the country at a later time.

Sosa is currently being held in the Juvenile Detention Center.

Dear Business Owner,

In light of your company’s choosing to condone the invasion of our
Nation by illegal aliens and their supporters by either closing your
doors on May 1, 2006 or by the hiring of illegal immigrants, I must
inform you that I will no longer be conducting any business with your
company.

As I’m sure you’re aware, illegal immigrants undermine both the
economic and social fabric of our Nation and I, as a legal tax-paying
citizen or legal immigrant, will be utilizing the power of my
shopping dollars to send the message that support such as you have
displayed with no longer be tolerated within our borders.

While I realize that your company is looking at your ‘bottom line’ by
supporting cheap labor, you must understand that many Americans are
more concerned with the future of our Country than with your profit
margin..

I will be spreading the word regarding your support of the
acceleration of our Nation’s demise and urging my family, friends and
acquaintances to do the same.

Respectfully submitted,

Dear David,

Thank you for contacting me about the state of our nation's borders security. I
appreciate hearing from you.

I agree with you about the importance of securing our nation's borders. The
uncontrolled flow of people across our border poses a serious threat to national
security, jobs, and welfare. For that reason, I have been a long time advocate for
more border security. In the 108th Congress, I voted to allow the U.S. military
to patrol our borders if needed. Last year, I voted for the REAL ID Act which allows for
the completion of a security fence along the San Diego border with Mexico.

Last December, I voted for the tough immigration bill that passed the U.S. House
of Representatives. The bill requires the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to
develop a national strategy for border security and to work with the Department of
Defense to increase the availability and use of military equipment in border
surveillance. The legislation also requires installation of security fencing along
key points of the Mexican border.

I am also co-sponsoring several bills to address this problem. For example, I am
cosponsoring H.R. 4313, the TRUE Enforcement and Border Security Act, which will provide
for the construction of a security fence along the U.S./Mexico border. I am also
cosponsoring H.R. 780 which provides for assured funding for more border patrol
agents, H.R. 3704 which establishes a Border Patrol Auxiliary to help the U.S. Border
Patrol monitor the U.S. / Mexican border, and H.R. 4816, which criminalizes the
construction or financing of a border tunnel.

I have supported these and other measures to secure our nation's borders and
to control the rising number of people that enter our country illegally each year
at a high cost to American citizens. As legislation is introduced in Congress that
affects immigration, rest assured that I will carefully review it to ensure that it
is right for our country and right for Middle Tennessee.

Thank you again for contacting me. If I may be of assistance to you or your
family, feel free to call on me.

Stay in touch,
BART GORDON
Member of Congress

News From The Nation That Impacts Tennessee

Finally, a bit of good news from across the Nation. First item: voters Remember who supported illegals in Herndon, Virginia and voted them out of office!! We can do it too, all across the Country in November!! REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!!
Second article is a story about an Arizona sheriff who has realized that he has the power to enforce immigration laws and is doing something about it. Something people either don't realize or tend to forget is that some of the most powerful individuals across the Nation are our duly elected sheriffs and just what sort of powers they hold.
We CAN take our Country back by staying informed and working together!
If you haven't already made those calls to our Tennessee legislators, our last Alert is still linked from our home page.
Thank you for staying involved and informed!!

Labor Site Backlash Felt at Polls In Herndon
Three Who Supported Immigrant Center Ousted
By Bill Turque and Nikita Stewart
Washington Post Staff Writers
Wednesday, May 3, 2006; Page A01
Herndon voters yesterday unseated the mayor and two Town Council members who supported a bitterly debated day-labor center for immigrant workers in a contest that emerged as a mini-referendum on the turbulent national issue of illegal immigration.
Residents replaced the incumbents with challengers who immediately called for significant changes at the center. Some want to bar public funds from being spent on the facility or restrict it to workers living in the country legally. Others want it moved to an industrial site away from the residential neighborhood where it is located.
The labor center forced the western Fairfax County town into the national spotlight last summer as the immigration debate grew deeply contentious. Even though fewer than 3,000 people voted yesterday, advocates on both sides of the issue looked at the Herndon election as a test of public sentiment. Outside groups such as the Minuteman Project, which opposes illegal immigration, intervened in the debate, and Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group, is suing the town over the establishment of the center.
The council voted 5 to 2 last August to establish the center, but yesterday's vote created an apparent 6 to 1 majority in opposition. Steve J. DeBenedittis, 38, a health club operator and political newcomer, defeated Mayor Michael L. O'Reilly with 52 percent of the vote. Council members Carol A. Bruce and Steven D. Mitchell, who voted for the center, also were turned out of office. Jorge Rochac, a Salvadoran businessman who supported the center and was seeking to become the town's first Hispanic council member, also was defeated.

Sheriff to Start Posse Patrols to Curb Illegal Immigration Flow
http://www.kpho.com/Global/story.asp?S=4850859
05.02.06
(CBS 5 NEWS) - Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced that approximately
100 volunteer posse and Sheriff's Deputies will soon begin randomly patrolling
the desert areas and main roadways in southwest Maricopa County as a part of an
operation to curb the flow of illegal immigrants entering the county.
Arpaio made the announced just as 11 more illegal immigrants were being booked
in jail after a Ford Windstar with California plates and 16 people packed inside
was stopped by a Sheriff's deputy early Tuesday morning on a traffic violation
near Gila Bend.
Despite the growing controversy about illegal aliens nationwide, the Maricopa
County Sheriff's Office remains the only Arizona law enforcement agency willing
to enforce a new state anti-smuggling law.
"There are so many illegals trying to make it into the county that it's
overwhelming my deputies, so I have called on members of my 3000 member
volunteer posse to assist," says Sheriff Arpaio. "It's not only illegals we
find and arrest out there, we've also made some recent huge drug seizures
involving illegal aliens including nearly 100 pounds of methamphetamine and
approximately three pounds of heroin."
Posse man Andrew Ramsammy, who was part of Tuesday's arrest team, says that he
believes he represents many of his peers when he says that the posse is anxious
to be a part of the Sheriff's solution to the immigration problem.
"As a group of law abiding people, we are fed up with the number of people who
come into this county illegally. We're tired of the drugs that some of them
bring to sell to our young people and we're ready and willing to assist the
Sheriff's deputies in the fight against illegal immigration," says Ramsammy.
Sheriff Arpaio says Tuesday's arrests include two coyotes, one of whom may be
charged with a far more serious offense - endangerment.
Virgilio Parra Sabori may face a class 6 felony charge if it is determined that
he recklessly left one of his customers to die in the desert.
That customer who may have paid as much as $1100 to gain entrance into the
country, was a 24-year-old Mexican male found near death by deputies who combed
the desert earlier today after being told by other people in the vehicle that
one man was left behind. That young man was found lying in the sun on the desert
floor and is currently in serious condition in a west valley hospital.
Arpaio says today his deputies so far have made seven anti smuggling cases in
the last few weeks alone and that 120 illegals have been arrested and jailed.
Arpaio houses 10,000 prisoners in his jails, including almost 2000 in a tent
city he erected in 1993. Tent City is being expanded to hold an anticipated
increase in of inmates being incarcerated in the Maricopa County jails.

Representative Harold Ford Jr.,
I watch your recent campaign commercials and can appreciate your
words about the oil company profits, however that does not matter.

The important issue for America is to SECURE OUR BORDERS and fix everything
else later. Senator Frist is seeking a compromise at the expense of our
sovereignty. Please step-up and take a stand to SECURE OUR BORDERS.
Amnesty does not matter, oil profits do not matter, tax cuts do not matter,
what agency collects what telephone information does not matter,
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS AT THIS POINT!

If our elected officials do not defend our borders then they will soon be
an elected representative of the former United States of America.

Please become a vocal representative to SECURE OUR BORDERS!

Thank you.

A Sad Memorial Day

We have just learned that Senate leaders have revived their massive
immigration bill that intends to give amnesty to millions. They plan to
bring it back onto the floor of the Senate next week. And pass it by
Memorial Day. Think phones!
Senators Frist and Reid have brokered the deal, and the White House is
congratulating them. This smells like trouble for America. Their plan is
to get the open border Republicans to join the Democrats to pass the bill.
They also agreed to pack the conference committee with 26 Senators,
including most everyone on the Judiciary Committee. That’s the crowd that
just voted for amnesty for 30 million and in-state tuition of all! We
must stop them! They know the will of America. But they intend on
ignoring us all—and instead, take care of their lobbyists friends and
corporate masters!
We must get back on the phones as never before!!!

Lame Duck Lame Speech To Come On 5/15/06

George Bush is planning on making a major speech on immigration on Monday to try
to help get his Amnesty/Guestworker plan through. Expect him to make some
rhetorical concessions about how illegal immigration is a serious problem,
but explain how Amnesty (though he won't use the word) is the only way to
solve it. He may even call for increased border security. This means he
is on the defensive, but do not be fooled. This is the same person who
calls illegal aliens good hearted people with strong family values just
doing the jobs us lazy Americans won’t do. If that's the case, why does
he even need to give a speech? Bush may be a lame duck, but let your
Senators know that you will not forgive them if they vote for the Bush
Betrayal! (contact your senators)
